REIMS / ETS Consultancy
Our consultants have extensive experience working with and supporting
the ETS and REIMS products sets. For new installations we would
recommend JCommerce as the e-commerce
engine, we recognise however that ETS and REIMS continue to be robust
and effective products and we will be pleased to provide you with
implementation, mapping and other integration services.
Specialist Knowledge |

We can provide fully automated solutions and
integrating to the majority of end systems including SAP,
BAAN, MFG/PRO, Efacs and Scala. We understand that many customers
have enough knowledge to create a new trading partner or individual
interchange or perhaps make a minor modification to a mapping.
Unless you are using the system on a day-to-day basis, however,
you loose the specialist knowledge. The ability to create
a new message or mapping from scratch and to link that to
the relevant trading partner and Interchange type to create
a new Individual Interchange.

Independence |
|
Our independence means that we can propose new solutions
if it is clear that the current version of REIMS or ETS does
not meet your needs. In many cases an upgrade to a different
version may meet your requirements. In situations where it
does not, or where you feel you cannot justify the potential
cost increase, then we may be in a position to help.

Mapping |
|
We can use REIMS and ETS to provide mappings for a wide range
of messages from the EDIFACT, Tradacoms and ANSI X12 standards.
We have experience mapping to a wide range of flatfile standards
including BASDA, Intercept and customers own standards. |
AIMS |
|
AIMS provides an effective integration engine allowing access
to databases, flat-files and other information structures. Again
we have a high level of expertise in making effective use of
this technology. We have used AIMS to generate a Purchase Order
and a Sales Order from an Inbound EDI Sales Invoice (a requirement
resulting from the unusual nature of the business processes
and SAP's lack of flexibility). This was achieved via a complex
AIMS script, that also performed initial validation and reporting
to an Access database. |

The REIMS Open Transaction Server provides an effective
mechanism for developing XML messaging. We again have the
experience to help you in the migration to this and other
Internet-based technologies.

Our specialist area of support is for the Windows based platforms. |
Support |
|
We can provide additional support on top of that provided
through your standard maintenance if it suits your needs. In
most cases this would relate to implementation specific support
as opposed to issues relating to the ETS or REIMS system which
would be covered by the standard Help Desk. |
